The SpeedPPC Framework

Once you understand the The Philosophy, you can see
the elements that need to be taken care of before you roll out effective PPC campaigns very quickly.

The SpeedPPC system in its most basic and common form is made up of:

Seed keyword list - This is a small focused set of keywords that form the core to your campaigns.
Expansion keyword list or lists - This is used to combine with the seed keyword list to generate long tail search terms and expand your total keyword variations.
Keyword mixing type - This determines how you are going to combine keywords to create long tail search terms. The usual options are combining keyword lists in the order you list them in SpeedPPC, or to generate every variation of your keywords. There is a more advanced form of pairing that we'll discuss later.
Grouping - This is an integral part of your campaign structure and controls how your ad groups are created, allowing you to control your targeting precisely.
Budget setup - This is where you can specify your search phrase match types and set your maximum costs-per-click for keywords and the Content network.
URL template - This is the keyword destination URL and communicates to the landing page to let it know what to display. Every single keyword is assigned a unique URL in this system. This can contain information about the seed keyword, the expansion keywords, the final keyword mix, match type,
campaign name, ad group as well as a unique tracking ID. This is also where you'd include your affiliate ID if applicable.
Ad builder - Using the Standard function, create up to six ads per ad group. These ad templates are generated in a very custom way to ensure that they match the targeted ad groups exactly. Choose the Advanced function and you can create and split test almost unlimited ad variations by creating "mix-
and-match‟ ad creative.
The SpeedPPC Campaign Builder - This is the software that brings it all together. The results of your creativity compiled into a neat little file ready for easy upload into pay-per-click search engines.
Google AdWords Editor - This is the way we upload our campaigns into Google AdWords.
The landing page software and templates - This can be very simple, or more complex depending on what you are trying to achieve.
The tracking mechanisms - These are the ways that we track at the keyword and ad group level to ensure that you have keywords that are working for you. When these elements come together they work in sync to produce great results.
